The wine journey started at 19 years old In London, working as a sommelier for a 5 star luxury hotel, The Dorchester. After taking the AIS diploma (Italian Sommelier Association) and WSET advanced level, I moved to Los Angeles and worked as a Somm for Terroni, an acclaimed Italian restaurant with an extensive wine list.
Meanwhile I was a teacher assistant, sommelier and examiner for NASA (North American Sommelier Association). After 2 years I moved to San Francisco and worked with Terravino, as a sales rep. Then with Lyra wine, as an area manager and assisting new markets opening. After that, as Italian Wine Specialist for Wine Warehouse, today Breakthru, one the major importer/distributor in the US. My role was promoting the brands and ensuring sales increase by working with sales reps, offering staff training, building efficient business planning, creating presentations and events with the industry people. During this time I had my own company, for In-coming projects, bringing American buyers to Italy and also, for brand building and event planning, helping wineries seeking for distribution in the West-Coast. In 2019 I moved back to my home land Umbria. I choose to embody the wineries I love and promote only the lands I live in. So I selected a group of family owned wineries and start supporting their brand awareness and sales worldwide.

Hailing from the enchanting region of Umbria, I began my illustrious journey in the wine industry in the early 2000s after moving to the United States. My career took off with Mionetto, where I honed my skills and developed a profound passion for the world of wine. Following this, I joined Jackson Wine Estates as the Italian Brand Manager for Tenuta di Arceno, further solidifying my expertise and reputation in the industry. My professional path then led me to Dalla Terra, where I continued to expand my knowledge and network. I later took on the exciting challenge of developing the renowned Avignonesi winery, contributing significantly to its growth and success In my latest venture, I founded Filome Wine Consultant, a dynamic consultancy firm dedicated to the wine industry. Through Filome, I have partnered with prestigious names such as Pastori Selection, bringing a wealth of experience and innovative strategies to each collaboration. On a personal note, I enjoy running marathons, which keeps me energized and focused. My love for music stems from my days as a DJ, and I’m currently taking piano lessons to further nurture this passion. Additionally, I have a deep love for cooking and entertaining at home, where I often bring friends and family together for memorable culinary.experiences.
